Favourite artists

Again, this is a silly question. Depends on when you ask. My "favorites" change all the time. I guess I can say that I have a particular fondness for 80's hard rock and metal bands.... Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth... Armored Saint.... Queensryche.... Rush... Van Halen... Y&T... AC/DC... you know... the ueual suspects.

About Us Rob Ash

I'm 52. I joined my first band when I was 16. I've been playing in bands since. The best it ever was for me was 1985-89, when I played in a serious hard rock/heavy metal band based out of North Florida. We played upwards of 35 shows a year on the "B" circuit, for three and a half years. We didn't make a ton of money, but we did make enough to not have to do anything else but gig to make a living for 4 years. The 4 of us lived together in one big house, shared 2 cars and a Harley, and split all the bills. Our monthly bill for alchohol and recreational drugs was at least as high as our rent.

I've been in bands since then that were good, but that one was the best.

I mostly make original music now. I have a small, but well equipped home studio. I work with some uber talented dudes over the net. I'm always up for a new collaboration, so hit me up if you dig my stuff.

I write, sing, play rhythm guitar, bass, harmony leads, and some keys. I create drum tracks in a program called Addicitive Drums. Pretty much everything except shredding. At my age, ego has been a non issue for decades. So I play well with others.

Jackson guitars, Ibanez bass. Yamaha keys. I have a Kustom 100 watt combo in case anyone wants to do something live. If my amp ain't loud enough, you better be prepared to mic me, because I won't be buying another.
